Some of you know that my wife, Rachel, is pursuing her master's degree in elementary education. She is scheduled to finish her degree in December. Today, Rachel was offered a teaching position at Highlandville Elementary (Spokane, MO school district) for the upcoming academic year. This will allow Rachel to work (and be paid) as a teacher, while finishing her degree. This is an answered prayer for us, and a blessing from God! We should all thank the Lord for Christian teachers in our public schools, and encourage them every chance we get. Their job is difficult. Pray for Rachel as she begins her career as an educator, and pray for my oldest daughter, who will start kindergarten at Highlandville this fall!
