Rachel and I are very happy to announce that I have accepted a call to return to Selmore Baptist Church in Ozark, MO as senior pastor. We have greatly enjoyed our time in Indianapolis, and have made many friends that we will miss very much. God has taught us much about Him, and about ourselves, during this journey. Our prayer is that our time in Heartland Crossing softened the soil for an eventual church plant in this community. For the next few weeks, we will be working toward that end, leading a Bible study that is tied to New Circle Church - a new SBC church plant in downtown that is seeking to reach out to other areas of the city.
I especially want to thank Chris Kellermeyer and Bobby Pell (my coaches/supervisors) for their encouragement and support, Vince Blubaugh and Second Baptist Church of Springfield, MO (our primary sending church), all the other local churches that supported us, and Pastor Guy Lancour and FBC-Mooresville who has adopted our family as their own during our time here.
It has been a great experience. To God be the glory.
