Tomorrow my brother and I leave for Raleigh-Durham, NC to attend a pastor's conference. The "triangle" (as the metro area is known locally) is a center of influence on the east coast, as four major universities are located there (Duke, University of North Carolina, NC State, & Wake Forest).
The area is also becoming increasingly important in Southern Baptist life, as it is home to Southeastern Seminary (arguably our most influential seminary right now), and the 3500 member Summit Church (SBC), a pioneer in the booming multi-site movement.
