Every Other Weekend

I am a big fan of lyrics. I get as much enjoyment from well-written words as I do from the music itself. That said, "Every Other Weekend" (sung by Reba McEntire and Kenny Chesney) is one of the best-written songs I have heard in a long time, set to an absolutely beautiful melody. It is also painfully gut-wrenching. Divorce has profoundly impacted my generation. If this song resonates with me, someone who has not been directly affected by divorce, I cannot imagine the chord it strikes in others. Listen, and appreciate.
