Bittersweet

Yesterday was our first major, public step toward church planting in Indy, as we announced to our beloved Selmore Baptist Church family that God is calling us to a new ministry.  Selmore is a wonderful church, of which God has allowed us to serve as senior pastor for the last ten years.  While we are excited to see what God has in store for us in Indy, we have shed many tears over the thought of leaving people we love so dearly.  Selmore will always hold a very special place in our hearts.  Yesterday was truly a bittersweet day.  Selmore has graciously allowed me to remain their pastor for the next six weeks.  Pray for this time of transition for us and the church!
