Merry Go Round

"Merry Go Round" by Kacey Musgraves is a brilliantly written song that I believe accurately describes where a lot of people are at in their outlook toward life - totally disillusioned and without hope. Listening to this song is a good reminder of why we must be faithful to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Without Jesus, life is aimless, pointless, and full of despair. With Jesus, life has purpose, meaning, and joy.

Particularly for those of us from small towns, the scenario this song describes is all too familiar. Christian, if this song doesn't break your heart for those without Christ, I don't know what will. I have it on my iPod just to remind me.
