I want to say "thank you" to everyone who has prayed for us this week. Rachel has had a nasty stomach bug for going on eight days now, along with a fever. It would be bad enough any way, but this week was the first week of school and Rachel teaches 5th grade. She has toughed it out as best she can, but she is exhausted. After a trip to urgent care earlier in the week, we took Rachel to her PCP today, and she gave us some instructions that she is confident will have Rachel feeling better by Monday.
If that were not bad enough, Jackson and I have been fighting off a stomach bug ourselves (though not to the same extent as Rachel). So without going into all the gross details, you can imagine it has been a fun week in the Hall household. But we are making it by the grace of God, awesome parents, and a loving church family. (Our supper has been provided for us every night this week!) We are blessed.
All you people having a rough time right now, hang in there. We're all in it together. Keep praying, and take it a day at a time.
