Thoughts on Vancouver
There's nothing quite like the opening ceremony of the Olympics. To see the parade of nations, and all the peoples of the earth assembled together in celebration of a common cause is awe inspiring and captivating. In fact, I believe it appeals to an innate desire in the heart of every created thing. A desire to be part of a similar event that will make tonight's magnificent ceremony look like a two-bit high school prom. An event at the end of time, foretold in Revelation 5:9, and set in the throne room of God...
"And they sang a new song, saying: 'You are worthy . . . For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation.'"
Now that will be a sight to behold!
