Thank you to Missouri Baptists for electing me this week to serve as your second vice-president. I am humbled by the opportunity.
Except for the brief time we served with NAMB in Indianapolis, I have been a Missouri Baptist all my life. I was saved and baptized in Plato Baptist Church, licensed to ministry by Bucyrus Baptist Church, ordained by Fender Chapel Baptist Church, served on staff at FBC-Ellington, and currently serve as the pastor to the wonderful people of Selmore Baptist Church. I love Missouri Baptists and our churches. A position of leadership is nothing more than a platform to serve, and that is my desire.
