Summer vacation officially started today for the Hall family. Rachel is finally out of school after working through the month of June, and I am taking two weeks away from church. Tomorrow we are leaving for Gulf Shores, Alabama. This will be our kids' first trip to the beach, and we are all looking forward to it.
I am very thankful for a church family that is not only understanding, but encouraging, when it comes to their pastor taking time away. I am also thankful for an outstanding ministry staff that picks up the slack when I am gone; I know the church is in good hands! Finally, I am thankful for family (my parents) and good neighbors that watch after the house and dog while we are away.
We are very blessed! Have a great 4th of July everybody!
