This morning I returned to the site of one of my greatest fishing conquests... On an early morning in May 2004 I caught the biggest smallmouth of my life... a 20 incher on a white lunker lure from an eddy above Shelvin Rock access on the James River. No such luck today, but as always, it was good to be out!
